Director’s Message
Dear Students,
First of all, I would like to congratulate you on choosing Iğdır University Health Services Vocational School, the rising value of the East. Our Vocational School, established to train health technicians in line with the needs of our country, has been serving since 2008 and started admitting students in 2009. In the 2009-2010 academic year, Iğdır University Health Services Vocational School began education with 60 students in two programs: Medical Laboratory Techniques and Medical Documentation and Secretarial. Since then, the school has expanded by adding 12 more programs, continuing education with a total of 14 programs.
It is well known that both the public and private sectors in our country require highly qualified human resources for the healthcare sector. In order to ensure employment and reduce unemployment rates, this workforce must be trained with high qualifications. Among the institutions responsible for fulfilling this task, Vocational Schools are at the forefront.
We are excited and proud as we begin the educational process. With our experienced academic and administrative staff, the institution's new building, and classrooms, laboratories, workshops, conference halls, amphitheaters, and physical facilities equipped with the latest technology, we will provide our students with high-quality education. Our goal is to train highly qualified professionals sought by the healthcare sector, offer support to students entering the workforce after graduation, provide maximum opportunities for students' social activities during their studies, assist in addressing their psychological and sociological issues, and create a positive family environment.
In our increasingly smaller world, where distances have lost their significance, it is crucial for you, as technical professionals with the responsibility to further elevate the development momentum our country has achieved, to make the most of the knowledge and experience of our qualified academic staff. Additionally, maintaining dedication to professional ethics and general moral principles in the responsibilities you will undertake in the future will be the key to your success.
With these feelings and thoughts, I wish a successful academic term to you, our new students, who will be joining us.
