Prospective Student

Dear Young People!

Remember that the foundation of science lies in the feelings of “curiosity” and “doubt.” These are the emotions that constantly encourage and provoke humans to create new things. Acquiring this enthusiasm and inquisitive approach is the first step towards becoming a scientist. The first place you will take this step is at the university. During this time, we will be by your side, doing our utmost to support you…

As students of our university, one of my important pieces of advice to you is this: Do not be content with the information given to you at the university. Your own efforts are of great importance in your personal development. When you graduate from university, it will be this effort that will set you apart from your competitors. For this purpose, I especially recommend using our university’s library and e-resources.

You, the students who are the bright future of our country, will take over this flag from us in the future and carry it to higher points. I have full faith in this. I want you to act with this awareness and wish you success…

Dormitory Facilities

The accommodation needs of our university students are largely met by the Higher Education Credit and Hostels Institution and private dormitories. In our province, there is a dormitory belonging to the Credit and Hostels Institution with a capacity of 1,000 students, including 500 male and 500 female students. Students who do not have the right to stay in state or university dormitories receive accommodation services from many private dormitories in the province. Additionally, for students who prefer home life, there are a sufficient number of rental apartments in our province to meet their needs. You can find information about the student dormitories affiliated with the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports below.

Double Major / Minor Programs

Double Major Program: It allows students to obtain a bachelor’s degree in another field of interest in addition to their main department. In this program, students can complete courses from two different departments and obtain diplomas in both fields.

Minor Programs: It allows students to take a certain number of courses in another field of interest outside their main department. Students who complete the minor program are given an official certificate in this field; however, this does not mean a second bachelor’s degree.

Exchange Programs

It offers students the opportunity to study at another university, either domestically or abroad, for a certain period. Through these programs, students have the chance to experience different cultures, improve their foreign language skills, and gain international academic experience.
